Administration Decries 'Democrat Hoax' as More Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Made Public

House Democrats have made public a fresh batch of what they described as "disturbing" photographs from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 released later on Friday represent a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The shamed investor was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.

Notable Figures in the Photos

Among the high-profile individuals visible in the opening set are celebrities including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Statement

The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for political purposes and to "try and create a false account."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging disclosure, releasing reams of records, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Panel Member Remarks

The photos were published lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with affluent people.

"The moment has come to stop this White House concealment and secure justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a comment.

The publication of these documents coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its probe into the affair.
